Bone Marrow Transplantation

1999 Stockton Prize at the Annual EBMT meeting.

It gives me great pleasure to announce the winners of the 1999 Stockton Prize awarded for the best Oral and the best Poster Presentations voted for during the Annual EBMT meeting.

This year, at the 25th Annual Meeting, in Hamburg there were 2 joint winners for the Oral Presentation:

Dr. Herrad Baurmann, from the Deutsche Klinik für Diagnostik Zentrum für Knochenmarktransplantation, Wiesbaden, Germany

and

Dr Francesco Dazzi, from the Leukaemia Unit at Hammersmith Hospital, London.

The best Poster Presentation went to:

Dr Andreas Hochhaus at the Medizinische Klinik Der Universitat Heidelberg, Mannheim, Germany.

Each winner receives a certificate, signed by the EBMT President as well as £1000 for the Poster contribution and £500 each for the joint Oral winners.

We would like to congratulate them on their success and remind everyone else to prepare their submissions for next year’s EBMT!
